How did the merge come about?
Since our inception in 2008, Yard Boss has worked closely with Lawnco and, in many instances, served the same clients. Our owner, Steve, and Lawnco owner, Roger, regularly talked on the phone and had lunches where they discussed best business practices, problems, and solutions revolving around the turf they both serviced and loved. What started as casual lunches between business owners in the industry developed into a strong bond and shared vision. When it came time to make a decision about a merge, Roger knew without a doubt he could entrust his clients to our dedicated team at Yard Boss as his first and only choice.
What will change about your services with the merge?
In short: absolutely nothing! There will be no changes in the services you receive, including the quantity and pricing you're used to. Your regular technician will be the one servicing your lawn and providing the same quality customer service, just in our Yard Boss uniform and truck now. Your technician will still knock on your door to discuss the service and leave you with a door hanger that includes detailed aftercare notes. You'll also see our logo across bills and communications you receive in the future, but otherwise, it's business as usual!
