Waverly Tree and Landscape Nutrition
Waverly, a rapidly growing suburb northeast of Lincoln, offers residents a peaceful community setting with easy access to the capital city. Yard Boss provides Waverly homeowners with professional deep-root fertilization for trees, shrubs, and landscape plants. Most people fertilize their lawns regularly but forget that trees and landscapes need feeding too. The problem is that tree and shrub roots grow much deeper than grass—eight to twelve inches or more below the surface where they can't reach the nutrients available in the top few inches of soil. Our specialized liquid injection system delivers complete nutrition directly to the deep root zone where your plants can actually absorb and use it.

Thriving Plants and Increased Property Value
Waverly's growing community values healthy, attractive landscapes. Annual deep-root fertilization helps your trees and shrubs reach their full potential with improved leaf color and density, stronger root and branch development, better disease and pest resistance, and enhanced stress tolerance. Mature trees add significant property value, and fertilization protects this investment by maintaining long-term plant health. Even plants that look healthy benefit from proper nutrition, staying vigorous and avoiding decline. Our custom on-site estimates assess your specific landscape to create the right treatment plan. Combine this service with our landscape weed control and lawn programs for complete property care.

Professional Deep-Root Injection System
Our fertilization service uses high-pressure liquid injection equipment that places nutrients eight to twelve inches below the soil surface. We create multiple injection points evenly distributed around each plant's drip line, ensuring uniform nutrient coverage throughout the entire active root zone. The liquid formulation includes all essential nutrients—nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, iron, calcium, and magnesium—in immediately available form that plants can use right away. This approach is far more effective than fertilizer spikes that only feed tiny concentrated areas and risk burning roots. The injection process also aerates compacted soil, creating better growing conditions for roots and improving water movement through the soil.

Active Growing Season Service

We provide tree and landscape fertilization from March through November whenever plants are actively growing and taking up moisture. Spring applications support vigorous leaf development during the season's highest nutrient demand. Summer treatments maintain healthy growth when soil has adequate moisture. Fall fertilization helps plants store nutrients for winter while supporting continued root growth. Waverly clients receive notification the day before their scheduled service via text or email. We cannot inject fertilizer when the ground is frozen since soil penetration becomes impossible. Weather conditions occasionally require rescheduling to ensure plants can effectively absorb the nutrients we apply.
