Wilber's Professional Landscape Maintenance Solution
Wilber's rich cultural heritage is reflected in the pride residents take in their properties. Beautiful landscape beds enhance this community atmosphere, and our professional weed control program helps maintain that beauty throughout the growing season. Our program takes care of:
Dandelion
Henbit
Clover
Nutsedge
Crabgrass
Dozens more!
Weather-Dependent Scheduling
We will not apply treatments if rain is expected within 30 minutes. The liquid spot-spray herbicide needs time to dry on weed leaves to be absorbed effectively. Rain too soon after application washes product off leaves before absorption, reducing effectiveness. If weather conditions aren't suitable, we'll reschedule to ensure optimal results.
How Pre-emergent and Spot-Spray Work Together
Pre-emergent herbicides prevent future weeds by creating a soil barrier that stops seed germination. Spot-spray treatments kill existing weeds by being absorbed through leaves and transported to roots. Using both approaches simultaneously addresses current weed problems while preventing new ones, creating landscape beds that remain clean season after season.

Late May - Early June

Key Components
Granular pre-emergent & spot spray

Late June - Early July

Key Components
Granular pre-emergent & spot spray

Purpose
Provides protection through peak summer growing season when weed pressure is highest.
4th application
Early September

Key Components
Granular pre-emergent & spot spray

Purpose
Controls late-season weeds and provides fall prevention as temperatures cool and fall weeds germinate.
The 5-Week Minimum Between Applications

We maintain a minimum of 5 weeks between applications for both safety and effectiveness. This interval allows the previous application's pre-emergent to work through its coverage period while avoiding product over-application that could affect plant health or soil biology. The spacing also aligns with product efficacy periods for optimal continuous coverage.
